Judi Simon is a professional illustrator and medical artist whose career spans over 40 years in the commercial art, health education and medical fields. She has had numerous illustrations printed in newspapers, magazines, books, and displays as well as illustrations for audio visual presentations for medical students and other professional organizations. Through the years she has won numerous advertising awards for her graphic design and packaging concepts for a variety of consumer products.

Her background and education are in the commercial art field but she has had sculptural pieces displayed in galleries and art fairs around the Detroit, Michigan area. Her main hobby, however, has always been painting. She began porcelain painting over seven years ago and now paints primarily in this medium. She specializes in portraits and does commission pieces for clients around Texas. She won "Best in Show" and a special Judges Award at the 2015 Central Texas Ceramic Show and won third place in the professional division at the 2015 Cleburne People's Choice Art Exhibition.

She holds a Bachelor of Science of Design from the University of Michigan with a major in Advertising Design and has a minor in illustration and figure drawing. She also holds a Master of Science from Baylor University with a major in Land Planning and Urban Design. She is a member of the State Federation Porcelain Art Clubs of Texas as well as a qualified instructor with the China Painting Teachers of Texas.
